Alexandria is a seasoned English instructor at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, teaching grades 9-12 and AP Language & Composition for 18 years. A finalist for North Region Francisco R. Walker Teacher of the Year, she has held leadership roles including building steward and chair of the IPEGS Evaluation Committee. Alexandria co-coordinates Miami Carol City's award-winning Silver Knights Program and was honored by the City of Miami Gardens and Legacy Magazine for her contributions to education. In 2022, she ran for UTD President with the People Over Politics Caucus, now a 501(c)(6) nonprofit advocating for teacher engagement in the Union.
Nichole holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Account Management from Florida International University. For 18 years, she has dedicated herself to teaching English in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and advocating for education through her long-standing involvement with United Teachers of Dade (UTD). Nichole has served as a UTD steward for 11 years and has been a delegate for both the American Federation of Teachers and Florida Educators of America for the past 9 years. In 2021, she co-founded the People Over Politics Caucus and, in 2022, helped it achieve 501(c)(6) nonprofit status. Nichole is also the co-founder of the BEEE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on teacher advocacy.

Kalyn Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from The University of Alabama. From 2017 to 2023, she taught Advanced Placement Literature, English, and Dual Enrollment courses at Miami-Dade County Public Schools through Teach for America. Kalyn consistently surpassed local, state, and global testing records in AP Literature and achieved exceptional results in state English assessments. In 2020, she was honored as the Francisco R. Walker Rookie Teacher of the Year and became a finalist for the Al & Jane Nahmad Family Foundation Excellence in Teaching Award. Kalyn is now an Assistant Professor of Communications at Broward College.

Claudia Benoit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Marketing Channel Strategy and Strategic Negotiations. At the BEEE Foundation, she led digital content initiatives, developed targeted content, and helped with outreach and boosted engagements with the community. She also built media contacts and strategized campaigns to advocate for the foundation’s mission. Claudia has also coordinated high-profile events at George Washington University, ensuring seamless communication. Passionate about strategic marketing and impactful storytelling, Claudia is dedicated to fostering connections and driving successful campaigns.

Daphne Hulion is a communications intern with the BEEE Foundation, currently pursuing a BA in Communication at the University of West Florida. Her experience as a beginning teacher has provided her with firsthand insight into the importance of accessible learning and professional development, especially for those navigating challenging paths. Daphne’s love for teaching gives her a unique perspective on connecting with diverse audiences, particularly when topics are complex or intimidating. She brings this sensitivity to her work at BEEE, where she crafts messages that inspire and empower, helping to share valuable resources and create opportunities for educators committed to growth.
Madelaine Panici holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Behavioral Science and Education from McGill University. She currently teaches 3rd-grade English Language Arts in Miami-Dade Public Schools through Teach for America. Last year, she taught a class of entirely retained 3rd graders, where her students exceeded learning gain expectations. Her passion for educational equity drives her commitment to ensuring that all teachers are well-supported to meet their students' needs. In addition to her role as the Grant Writing and Research intern at the BEEE Foundation, she has a strong interest in education policy.
